When Daniel Sklaar, owner and founder of Fine and Raw decided it was time to develop his own production facility he chose this location at the epicenter for food in NYC… Bushwick. A block from our facility, we felt right at home helping create a new fixture in this dynamic enclave of food adventurism. Taking this rough one story garage space and turning it into Bushwick’s home of fine chocolate has been pure fun; from the castle door entrance to the scaffold-inspired tubular steel mezzanine railing and stairs. Begun in April 2012, scheduled to be complete in October, the first test batches of product are already rolling off the presses.
